Founded in 1959, Nolte is a German success story and is the country’s second largest furniture manufacturer, regularly winning industry awards and servicing a worldwide market. Nolte produce 800 kitchens a day, each of these kitchens is produced specifically for one customer in one of the 60 countries that Nolte export to.
So why haven’t you heard of them? Well, up until recently Nolte was supplied exclusively by a single UK distributor. But they have started to select local companies, and we’re thrilled to be their dealer in and around the Surrey/Hampshire border.
The Nolte kitchen is made especially for you, customised to meet your exact requirements. With over 150 kitchen door frontals, Nolte have a vast selection with which your perfect kitchen can be designed. Believing in design purity led them to change their whole production line for their fiftieth anniversary to Matrix 150. All of Nolte’s Kitchen furniture is now produced on their own system of 150mm increments. This leads to perfect lines throughout the kitchen.
Nolte’s handleless system, Matrix Line 150, also follows these design principles which means that most of their kitchens can be made handleless should you require.
Traditionally most kitchen base cabinets are around 750mm high but you may have noticed that taller cabinets are now very much on trend. Yet another innovation made by Nolte: the new carcase height Matrix 900 means the optimum combination of design and ergonomics. On the one hand, Matrix 900 achieves entirely new kitchen looks, while on the other hand the working height of 962mm (in conjunction with a 12mm worktop and 50mm plinth) is ergonomically ideal. In small kitchens in particular, the extra storage space gained over the standard carcase size of 750mm is of above average significance.
Fitting seamlessly with the new high cabinets, Nolte have introduced some ultra slim worktops that will bring an ultra modern, minimal look, to your kitchen. The 12mm thick worktops are available in five colour options or two colour versions in real glass.
Nolte use only the very best components. From the integrated soft close hinges to the colour co-ordinating carcases with integrated neoprene dust seal as standard, Nolte kitchens are continually trying to raise the bar in terms of quality. Internal mechanisms such as larder pull-outs and Le Mans magic corners can be selected as well as many space saving devices such as plinth drawers, deep drawers underneath ovens and gullwing drawers which expand when opened, all offer the user extra storage which most kitchen purchasers require. When selecting your kitchen, you can also specify 750mm deep worktops which will give you 32% more storage in your kitchen! All units and doors are designed and built to the highest quality GS mark standards, using the finest materials. Innovative and stylish accessories complement your chosen design.
The kitchen is being integrated more and more into the living space and there is a prominent trend towards the open plan room A kitchen should be fun, because what we conjure up in the kitchen is usually for pleasure. This is why the look of the kitchen should suit the user. Nolte have recently introduced some wonderfully exciting new colour door fronts including their Nappa range which has a leather look and feel, the Portland range which has a real cement surface with a textured stone feel, the Legno & the Artwood ranges which both have an exceptional wood effect and the Corona, Glas Tec Plus & Glass Tec Satin ranges which have a laminated glass fronted door or exceptionally hard wearing glass fronts. All these new looks will make your kitchen one to thoroughly enjoy.
